Sleep increases memory and can tend to help make you smarter. Study, then go to bed and get a good nights’ rest. During the process of sleeping, the mind sorts through the information gathered during the day. It stores crucial information, while deleting unnecessary items. Cramming for a test without rest lessens your chances to recall the information you studied.
Adequate sleep restores your mind in such a way that you may also be able to think more clearly. If you need to make a decision or find a new way of attacking a problem, getting a good night sleep may just restore your brain’s ability to concentrate and find a solution to your problem.
A well-rested person tends to be in a better mood. This enhanced mood allows your body to gain much-needed refreshment. In turn, a refreshed person is a relaxed and positive person. So if you want to manage daily stresses more efficiently, get a good night of sleep. Those who get between seven to nine hours of sleep also experience fewer depression symptoms, too.
